Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) published the Draft Master Plan 2025 (DMP25) earlier in June 2025, which aims to envision the next 10 to 15 years of Singapore’s land use planning. With the concurrently-launched DMP25 exhibitions running at their Maxwell office and other roving exhibitions in the heartlands, these aim to give the public a glimpse into what URA has planned for the future, and simultaneously act as points of feedback for the interested to engage with URA on the document that will define their work for quite a while. The DMP25 is slated to be gazetted as the Master Plan 2025 when the consultative phase ceases in November.

STC has secured a booking for a special guided tour through the DMP25 exhibit at the Singapore City Gallery (Maxwell) in early October, conducted by the planners behind DMP25 themselves, who will also be present to answer queries by those curious about the processes behind the production of the dazzling tangle that we can look forward to in coming years. Typically, these gallery tours are conducted by the occasional URA service ambassador stationed on the gallery floor. Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to speak to the makers of our next Master Plan! Sign up today!
